It completely depends on the series, some series allow them, some don’t. The annual race-happening this weekend-offers the chance to prove who has not just the best technology, but the ability to harness it for a full 24 hours without disaster, at a place where disaster tends to reign supreme. The Monaco Grand Prix may be the car world’s glitziest race, the Indy 500 its most historic, but the 24 Hours of Le Mans wins the award for most masochistic-and therefore the most important to manufacturers and fans alike. ![]()
